Curriculum
At Hillhouse CE Primary school the curriculum is designed with the intention of promoting learning and personal growth and development for all pupils regardless of their starting point, ability or specific need. We want children to grow into positive, responsible adults, who can work and cooperate with others, while at the same time developing their knowledge and skills, in order to achieve their true potential. Our focus on curriculum development promotes teaching and learning experiences which are always carefully designed to ensure coverage and progression. We take into account the needs of all learners making sure that the curriculum is accessible to pupils with disabilities or special educational needs - please see our SEND policy for further information.
Hillhouse CE Primary provides a highly inclusive environment where learners enjoy their education and pupils at all levels are helped to achieve their potential. Children leave the school with a sense of belonging to a tightly knit community where they have the confidence and skills to make decisions, self-evaluate, make connections and become lifelong learners. Hillhouse C of E Primary school follows the national curriculum -please see the link below.
